I LOVE Holy week activities unfortunately none of the local churches had all three, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter Morning.. to concentrate I believe on these events really embeds the great work Christ did for us...
Here was my facebook post:"We all die, fact.... but only one, who lead a perfect life, could over come death.... Jesus, it proves he is what he said he was... The Christ, the One we have been looking for.... not only was he a sacrifice for my wrong doings... but His resurrection gives us a hope and a promise that those who believe in Him will have eternal life, since through this death and resurrection we have become adopted sons and daughters..... of God...how awesome is that!"
Despite the lack of " High Church", and a large crowd for Easter, we did enjoy brunch at one of our favorite restaurants with my inlaws and Christopher. ( Continued prayers for Mom in law please as she goes in for her 3rd infusion on Tuesday)
..AND I was able to see her beautiful azaleas..
and I was also able to have a nice visit with Josh as we went to visit my Mom...
AND I got to spend some time with this one a couple days...
I made a lemon pound cake from the last Taste of Home magazine... not very lemony but great texture.
..because I have great friends,I also received this handmade sweet little bunny for my "Bunnyville" collection...
Its the beginning of another busy week...but remember Christ has conquered death!
Praise God!
