Happy Labor Day! It was so much fun having the kids home for the weekend, went to a great church service at North Henderson Baptist on Sat. night, met Vika's mom and we had a wonderful dinner, we talked and laughed, Chris worked ont he pantry, and I did a bit of cross stitch.
Chris and I had burgers, slaw and ice cream today .... just because its what you do on Labor Day. We talked a bit how our National Holidays are becoming taken over by sale flyers. I don't think we will ever get back to the simple things will we?
My tea of the week was Adiago Peach Oolong. .
I enjoyed this so much I started mixing it iced with my regular ice tea and cut the sugar down a bit... delicious!
The 2nd row of shelves ahve been installed in the new pantry... I love it! Chris will work one more day on it this week and then we will scrounge for more wood to finish it off.
Nice shot of the cat litter huh?
Let me leave you with the Bible Verse for this week
" Blessed are those that hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled"
Have a fine day... all day long!
