so Chris was gone to Ohio last weekend to do somethings at my mom's house and then on to a visit with our friends in IN. I was so happy for him to be able to get away for a weekend , even if there was some work involved, and its ALWAYS good to see our Indiana friends.
I had a HUGE list of things I wanted to do while he was gone. Really nothing I had planned was done... and I realized I am HORRIBLE without my wing man!
Friday after work I ended up getting a bucket of chicken and sharing it with the dogs... I worked on an afghan until I ran out of yarn...I decided to pull out a cross stitch project and work on that while watching Ken Burns " The Roosevelts"
Saturday after work I ran by the herb sale in town, which was already packed up so there went my plans for the herb garden for the afternoon.
I ate a turkey burger, a bag of chips, and worked on a flower mandala I found on Natas Nest.
I ended up putting it on the coffee table and it looks very springy there!
Then I curled up with a cuppa tea and finished reading Skeleton Letters by Laura Childs. This is one of the Scrapbook Mysteries. I always enjoy her books. These are fun and quick to read.
Sunday I ate 1 egg burrito and 2 bags of chips.... and maybe a hershey kiss I found in the cabinet. I told you I am pathetic without my wing man) I was even so lazy as to make the scrambled eggs in the microwave... I did manage to hang blankets out and sweep off the porch. More Roosevelts, more crochet..
Josh stopped by Sunday evening with a friend so I did have a bit of company...
So thankful for my husband... so thankful he is home!
