Where does the time go??? August was a whirlwind of babies, and visits , and the garden, and house renovations...
Things, dried, things canned, things tinctured.... it flies past....
I finished two books... The first was Sadako and the 1000 Paper Cranes..
a dear book I had heard of and wanted to read to add to my Children's book collection The end of the book inspired me to try my hand at making my own paper crane
This inspired me to reread Hiroshima by John Hersey
The story of Sadako is based on a true story that happened as a result of the bomb. To me the book surely reminds me, as Mrs Dement said this morning as we were talking.... " If you throw everybody's troubles in a bag, you'll be scrambling to dig yours back out when you see the others in there"
Very true, very wise
There were two afghans made to tuck away for Christmas gifts
and then there are these two, that are allowed to take up as much time as they want
I need to also update on a day my friend Bonnie and I had "exploring" Louisburg...
My life is full, blessed... by God's mercy and Grace
