Saturday was a rainy /cold/ droopy day. While I SHOULD have been doing my Christmas things ( baking, wrapping , making) I snuggled in with a book and a cuppa tea.
At first my book for N.J. was " The Saprano State", but after the first 4 chapters my mind was so boggled that I picked up the #2 book on the list for that state.
This had potential of being very sad, but really it tells of how loyal and trusting Dina Matos was to Gov. McGreevey. Not an extremly deep read, but an interesting one talking about her life when they first met, until the day they walked out of the Govenor's Mansion and she became a single parent of a 3 year old. I enjoyed the book...and applauded her.
and while my nose was buried in the book and I was snuggled under a fleece blanket... I was sipping Coconut Cocoa tea from Republic of Tea
I was given some money for Christmas to treat myself to something special and this little sampler of chocolate teas seemed just the thing. Drinking a warm cup of Coconut Cocoa tea was like eating a Mounds bar... I'll have to pace myself with this one! So delicious~
Three more gifts to buy.... several to wrap, dough is chilling for the cookies and buckeyes, my portion of the menu is planned for Sat. and Sunday...
All the decorating I am going to do is done.... any grand plans I had that have not been accomplished got crossed off hte list....
During this season, stop... grab a good book..... drink a cuppa tea...and have a fine day ..all day long!
