Someday I will find a great chart, or create one myself showing the overlapping kings between Israel and Judah... who was good... who was not so good... who was inbetween... I really lagging far more then I should have over these two tryign to absorb, and guessing it wasn't my time to absorb.... and all I can say to all you Old Testament students out there.." God Bless You"..
Anyhow, one thing I did ponder a bit was a man named Horan. an artisan, who assembled other artisans to build the temple... and they made things beautiful with things from the earth and their hands...
I suppose this is what is inside of me... I wish I lived in a place created from things of the earth with human hands... Chris's, mine, my family.... friends...
Those talents are a gift, given to us by God to compliment the beauty he has already given us in our surroundings.
How much more at peace and rest could we be in natural, hand made beauty...
..just my thoughts...
anyhow... apart from pondering Chronicles today I started the Christmas baking preps
sugar cookies are chilling, butter is softening for the buckeyes and the snowballs are made
Snowballs( also called Russian tea cakes or Mexican Wedding cookies)
1/2lb softened butter
1 t vanilla
mix until fluffy
2 cups coarse chooped nuts ( pecans or walnuts)
2 cups flour
preheat oven to 300
roll dough into small balls( about the size of a grape)
place on a cookie sheet ( use parchment if you have it)
Bake for 25 minutes or until the bottoms are brown... these cookies do not turn golden...
as soon as they come out of the oven gently roll them in confectioners sugar a,d place on wax paper.

Appreciate the beauty around you, and have a fine day... all day long!
