Well, at least the front garden. Normally we don't experience our first frost until Nov. This year it struck a few weeks early.
Not only did the tomatoes get frost bit... but they also ended the year with a fungus that required all the end of season tomatoes and the plants to be pulled out and thrown on the burn pile.
we also had a mass of peppers that needed to go on the dehydrator, and some other small house projects.
We flipped a coin... not really... Chris had a bunch of repairs at the shoppe that I couldn't do, so for the 2nd day in a row I stayed home and finished up some of these projects....I learned I am not a solitary type person... Chris could probably stay home for a month and be happy as a clam....by day 2 I am chomping to get out and about.... I'll be one of THOSE retired folks when the time comes...
I am happy to say that the front bed is cleared now, the peppers are dried , and tonight for dinner we had some of our canned beef stew...delicious!
Please continue to pray for my friend Becky as her last few hours draw near.... she is ready... her family grieving ...
Time to relax and get a bit of crochet done this evening... I am in full elf mode from now until Christmas.... I love it..
