The 19th Wife by Ann Eliza Young was a difficult book to read. No.1 because it is a very old book and the wording is a bit awkward to read for me. Most importantly I could feel this woman's pain as she wrote. She was not loved, the women caught in polygamy were sufferers. It was brutal and cruel.
I am amazed how in contrast the life in the birth of Mormonism was so different from what it is now.
This book though was wonderful see the beginings of Utah, how it was shaped, how it was formed... the life of the people...
