Isn't he lovely? There are two of them.... not sure what they are, but they seem to live in harmony with the cats that also sit in that tree ( although to be safe I am considering bell collars for the kitties).. they swoop down and grab a bit of cat food... crack it on the branch and then eat the bits.... I must have sat there for a good 15 minutes watching them!
So far with this rain the carrots are the only thing that have gone into the garden, the garlic and sugar snaps are growing nicely now despite the cold days we have had... we hope to get potaotes ( we are going wiht Kennebecs this year) and onions in the ground along with a couple of grow bags of lettuce... I need to research a bit on the spinach as our fall crap was an epic FAIL!
Today is another rainy day, Chris is in New Jersey and I am thinking I might make an apple crisp for dinner.... yes, just an apple crisp... and a cup of hot tea.... and something good to read on the Kindle...
8 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, 29 for our “God is a consuming fire.”[f]
