Oh WOW... like 10 days since I have posted ... *blush* Sorry *blush* It has been so busy. My mom came to spend awhile with us and of course there was preps for that ( you know how it goes.... shake the crumbs out of the toaster sort of stuff)... and get togethers , and busy season at the shoppe, planting fruit trees ( 3 apples and a fig) getting ready for cold weather..... you know, the list goes on..
Did you ahve a good holiday? We sure did... My Mom in law ALWAYS sets the most beautiful table

Our contibution was Sweet Potato Casserole. The recipe came from HERE
Sweet Potato Casserole
- 3 cups mashed sweet potatoes
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 cup chopped pecans
Combine first 6 ingredients. Pour into a buttered 1 1/2 to 2-quart casserole dish. Mix remaining ingredients together and sprinkle over top. Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes, until hot and browned.
Serves 6 to 8.
