12 medium size tomatoes
1 bunch cilantro
1 or 2 green peppers depending on the size
1 or 2 onions
1 or 2 jalepenos ( other peppers will work too..this is what we had growing)
2T minced garlic
stick all of this in the crockpot on low for 4 hours or high for 2 hours... let it cool a bit , strain off the juice and place the mixture in a food possessor or blender and give it a few pulses depending how you like your salsa.. put in jars or containers for the fridge..
Have you priced a bag of tortilla chips lately??? Goodness! Much cheaper and healthier to make your own.. Buy a pack of the small corn or flour tortillas we prefer flour... stack and cut into 4ths or 8ths depending on what size chip you like...
..you can then spread on a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes on 350 then sprinkle with salt OR fry for a couple minutes in oil until crisp and sprinkle with salt... makes a TON and they are delicious!
