MVP, Library sales and solving world problems
A big huge pat on the back to my youngest for being awarded the preseason tournie MVP.. His coach quoted " not so easy when your team didn't even make it to the finals"... Way To Go Christopher!!
am not going to lie to you... I am TIRED... MIL and I spent awhile walking up and down isles of books laid out 5 deep on tables separated by different genres. The Wake Co Public Library is having their annual sale After awhile our arms were tired... our legs were tired... our backs were tired... and our eyes were about crossed as one title ran into another. So many books... so little time... If you live in the Raleigh area take your children... or your self...and have a go at it. You are bound to find something...and the price is right... I plopped down 18.00 and walked away with some many wonderful finds... one being the The Woman's Devotional Bible in brand new condition that I have wanted for along time and we found a few brand new copies of My Upmost for his Highest by Oswald Chambers. These can make great little gifts for folks you want to let know you are praying for them and such. I think a nice little basket with a tea cup, tea a few muffins and this book would brighten anyone's day. I found Chris a few Vince Flynn ( his current new author) and a few new titles I had wanted to try for myself and a couple of Janette Oke books to round out my collection.
After our biblio feeding frenzy... we took our weary bones to Ruby Tuesdays for some minis and the thing we do best... we visit, talk, laugh, discuss everything from religion to politics to our new fav subjects... cats & the upcoming birth of Baby E... my nephew who by God's mercy will enter the world sometime tomorrow... We'd appreciate prayers for the wee one and his mom and dad...
... he looks quite comfy where he is... not sure his mama would agree!! We can't wait to meet you little one!!
Pray for the troops... Baby E...and have a fine day...all day long!!
