Sabbath July 13
Today we fellowshipped with some old friends at the Carpenter's Shop We've known Jimmy and Shelley for about 12 years.
... my sweetest Chris was fortunate to do the music this morning... Good Stuff!!!
..and a wonderful talk on the errancy of scripture form Dr. Black and his lovely wife Becky . Excellent teaching and fellowship..
........oh and for those in on the conversation.... bugs...the Greek akris....used only twice in the New Testament.. both references to the same thing...meaning "to light on vegetation"... I'm going with a bug....
... Continue to pray for the Blacks and their ministry to all parts of the world...
..and have a fine day... all day long!
It's all Greek to me, but some cultures think nothing of eating locusts. (I don't think much of it, either. ;-) ) I think I read somewhere (Euell Gibbons or maybe Foxfire) of how to take sheets and shoo a bunch of grasshoppers into the fire all at once to roast them. That would be more efficient and probably healthier than eating them raw one at a time.
Just think - locusts are kosher and pork rinds are not!
